The Unmapped Page

When importing sales files to Curve, we will map this income to the correct Track or Release in your catalogue using the ISRC, Barcode or Cat No as a reference. If the values found in the sales file do not match any of the Tracks or Releases in your catalogue, Curve will be unable to map this income (resulting in invalid lines in your income files) and flag the unknown identifiers with you via the Unmapped page.

The Unmapped Page exists alongside the Mapping Manager, which can also be used to map Tracks and Releases to invalid Sales Lines. The Mapping Manager shows Tracks & Releases that need to be mapped for one specific Sales File, whereas the Unmapped page gives an overview of all unmapped lines across different files. More information about the Mapping Manager can be found in this article: The Mapping Manager.

To get started, please head over to your Sales > Unmapped page. Using the Title and Artist as a reference, you can search for the matching Track or Release in your catalogue.  You can switch between Tracks and Releases by using the tabs on the page. Hitting the Refresh button will clear all those identifiers that have been mapped

Once you have mapped the Identifiers to the Tracks and Releases in your catalogue, you can review these Identifiers via the Alias tab of your Track or Release.

If the Unmapped page flags a Track or Release that does not yet exist in your catalogue, you may opt to create a new catalogue item within the Unmapped page. Using the Create button will load a new Track or Release, which you can adjust and assign Contracts to ahead of saving. You can also create all unmapped Tracks or Releases in bulk using the +Bulk Create option, though please be careful you only use this option when knowing all remaining unmapped Tracks or Releases are no duplicates of catalogue that already exists.
