Requirements for eligibility on Curve's Payments functionality
Understanding Client Onboarding Jurisdictions
Curve relies on its payment partners' licenses to provide cross-border payment services. To be eligible for onboarding, clients must be based in one of the permitted jurisdictions listed below. If your business is located outside these areas, you may need to establish an entity in a permitted jurisdiction. Some Curve clients have successfully established companies in eligible jurisdictions to meet onboarding requirements.
Please note that Payees do not need to be in a permitted jurisdiction. We can process payouts globally, even if the recipient is outside the permitted list, except for restricted territories.
If you are interested in Curve's Payments functionality but our based outside of one of the permitted jurisdictions, please contact us to request coverage in your region. Curve Royalty Systems is constantly working to expand our coverage via existing and new payment partners. For further details, please contact [email protected].

Common Issues & Solutions
- Operating from a restricted country: If your business is based outside the permitted jurisdictions, setting up a company in an eligible country can be a successful alternative.
- Brexit impact: Some currencies may be subject to European licensing constraints if onboarding from a country in the European Economic Area (EEA).
- Clarifying eligibility: If you are unsure about your status, consult with your account manager.
